Junction: a place of meeting or connection
A Safe, Non-Judgmental Space to Explore What Matters Most
Welcome
Many people arrive at counselling feeling unsure about where to begin — whether they’re navigating stress, difficult relationships, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or simply sensing that something needs attention. Counselling offers a space to slow down and turn toward what’s happening for you, with support. My approach is collaborative and responsive, guided by your needs and paced in a way that feels manageable. Together, we can create room to reflect, build understanding, and move toward greater clarity and ease.
Connection is central to our wellbeing, and research consistently shows that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in effective counselling. Creating that connection is my priority. I aim to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood — a place where you don’t have to manage things on your own. There is real value in having someone in your corner: someone who joins your perspective, holds your best interests at heart, and keeps the focus entirely on you.
Counselling is also an opportunity to reconnect with yourself. It’s a chance to step back from your many roles and responsibilities and focus on what matters most to you, without distraction or pressure. I offer a calm, steady, and welcoming environment to support that process.
Because the relationship between counsellor and client is such an important part of the work, finding the right fit matters. I offer a calm, supportive environment and draw from CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and a Client-Centred approach to meet you where you are. If you’re curious about working together, we can begin with a brief consultation to get a sense of each other and explore whether this feels like a good fit — with no pressure or obligation to continue.
